Back in Dublin.

In less than 48 hours I will be on a flight back to reality.

Boo-urns.

Just to back up a bit, we left Belfast for a day trip along the Antrim Coast with the most awesomest tour guide ever and finished up in Derry. Despite the rain while we walked Bogside, we loved Derry. The sun came out while we walked the walls. I may have done a little jig.

We continued on to Donegal Town and promptly fell in love with it. I haven't been to Donegal in 20 years and while the weather prevented us from actually seeing any of the coast as we had hoped, we found a fantastic hostel and a great pub with live music nightly. The rest of the trip has been punctured with reminders that we could return to Donegal.

Galway was next. I lived there when I was 19 so it was a bit like returning home. The sun came out long enough for me to walk the Claddagh (yes, that's where the ring originates), and to enjoy a few day tours. Sadly, our planned trip to the Aran Islands fell through when we learned that the 'April - October' schedule on the website was actually 'April - whenever we feel like changing it'. Again, Boo-urns. Just another reason to come back :)

We're wrapping up our time in Dublin at the moment: last minute souvenir shopping and seeing of family members. Let's hope we can fit it all in!
